Ø  ISO 14306
In  April 2026, the new ISO 14306 Version 4 was released officially after more than four years of investigation. A key feature ist the update on JT 10.5, which has been widely used in the industry for several years. New is the description of "Material and Surface-Properties", which were defind before als German VDA 231-400. This extention provides semantic readable information for several downstream processes.
Unfortunately the scope remains limitied to just 16 usecases, although 38 usecases are in producitve use in the industy

Ø  DIN Spec 91383 – JT Industrial Application Package
The current  DIN Spec 91383 was published in  August 2024 and is availabe for use free of charge. It was develped by a working group involving e.g. Airbus, BMW, Continental, Engineering Methods, Material One, Mercedes-Benz, PROSTEP and Volkswagen. It describes all 38 use cases and the material and surface-properties, which are now part of ISO 14306 V4..
Based on this DIN-Spec, a process has been initito transfer this document to an official DIN-Standard. the first release of this standard is expected in Q1/2027
